Alien shaped are the perfect choice for ice cubes. They're complicated enough to be interesting but simple enough to hold together as little chunks of ice.
This is our fav ice tray at the moment - Ice Invaders. One ice tray spits out 24 little aliens just like you used to shoot down at the arcade. Gives any drink a lovely retro feel, it doesn't have to be Cinzano or Babycham!
